Bruce Banner arrives in Metropolis with his cousin, Jennifer Walters, She-hulk. He sees a flyer for an art expo, and recognizes his friend, Trisha Shafton, as one of the presenters. He introduces his friend to his cousin. The two take a liking to each other. She-hulk admires Trisha’s courage in befriending the Hulk. Others are there, also, looking for Banner.. Banner has been recommended to the Justice League by Green Lantern. The Green Lantern Corp thinks Hulk would be a good fit for the Justice League. Lex Luthor has made an alliance with the Leader in a plot to destroy the Justice League, and gain Hulk as their slave. The Leader knows of his friendship with Trisha, and plan to use her as an unwitting accomplice. Lex Luthor awards her a collection of paint brushes. Once she completes a painting, Hulk will be under their mind control. The only way to break the spell is to destroy the painting. Leader is certain Trisha will be reluctant to do that. Will Hulk fall under the mind control spell? Will Trisha do what must be done to free her giant friend? Will Banner join the Justice League?
